Training and experience:

Joined the Dartington Pottery Workshop in 1984. Production Thrower at Dartington until 1988.
Rob worked with a Norwegian potter and exported tableware under commission to him for ten years.

Fishacre Pottery:

In 1990 Rob created his pottery in Littlehempston and has since specialised in Raku.
 
Rob Sollis makes a range of hand-thrown, turned and burnished ceramics. Finishes are achieved using glazes, later raku fired. Since a successful exhibition of new works involving Audi Cars, special finishes have been developed using sprayed metallic and lacquered paint effects.
